Best read after Shadows of Sunlight City, these five novellas serve as a series of prequels to that series, providing backstory, insight, and a closer look at each of the Black Cats, the team of assassins first mentioned in Victor. Tony felt that each of those characters deserved further exploration, if not an origin story, and The Black Cat Chronicles were the result.

A David Johansen Thriller
Ghosts of Killdeer is a visceral supernatural thriller featuring secrets, lies and a struggle against an unseen enemy with an unspeakable goal. It’s a novel Tony never expected to write; it came about following the death of his father in 2019. While not officially part of Shadows of Sunlight City, many of the same characters return for one final story, which deals with grieving and spiritual warfare, among other things. It’s a deeply personal novel for Tony, a project that he poured his heart into, and he personally considers it his best work.
MELODY'S MEMORY
Melody’s Memory is a departure from thrillers. It’s a novella focusing less on action and suspense and more on the condition of the heart. Seven chapters cover seven days in this touching tale of forgiveness. Tony invites readers to open the long-locked doors of their own hearts, shine the light on what may be hidden there, and allow healing to come.
